SAP Master Data Assistant

Location: Sheffield, Aberdeen, or Lisburn

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Master Data Assistant to join our team and support the integrity of our business-critical ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key user in the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data in SAP S4/Hana.
  • Cleanse and update data according to defined standards and governance rule sets.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate data-related issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and manipulate data sets in Microsoft Excel to support operational reporting.
  • Validate data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Maintain detailed logs of data changes, cleansing activities, and audit trails.
  • Support internal and external data audits as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data-related tasks to support operational needs.
 

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • High attention to detail with methodical and data-minded problem solving.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including formatting, SUMIF, XLOOKUP).
  • Familiarity with SAP S4/Hana or other ERP systems.
  • Independent work style with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Reliable, collaborative, and willing to learn.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or similar roles.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and Excel-based reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for email and workflow management.
  • Comfortable collaborating with international teams.
